Starting out I called my business Threads of Life and I have been asked why that was.....
It did work for me at the time because I had thought I was opening a jewellery store and gem bead workshop.
After all, what the heck was a spiritual teacher? And Reiki healing? with invisible energy? Right Oh? I’ll play your silly game crazy lady.
She said I would come to understand it more later on and she is right.
What are the Threads?
Apart from the fact that I connect many like minded people together on a daily basis, I see each person as having a thread of their own that they bring with them wherever they go. Their threads rolls over mine, it rolls under the man you don’t know at the Post Office, it’s tied to the person who takes your car park after you are finished with it. The School bus goes past weaving a trail over the old people passing in the pensioners van. Your children, your husband or wife take their threads and travel through their day, bringing them back in the evening.
Imagine the strength and warmth of the blanket we would weave if we all gave way & gave grace to each other acting with love.
So count your own blessings and spend some on them on other people - smile at the person who doesn’t expect it at the Post Office.
Don’t judge the lady that has less than you at the supermarket. When you judge her, you are only showing the smallness inside you.
That’s not love. It’s not healthy for you or her. Be kind with no thought for a thank you. Compliment someone that looks tired.
Think creatively with it, you may just throw someone a lifeline that helps at their toughest time when they could be hanging by a thread.
Ease the place we all live in. It will bounce back to you along your thread later.
Remember to spin, weave, plait, tie, crochet, knit those threads with love...
