Pay it Forward
Have we all seen the movie?Did you know if you do 3 kind things and ask the receivers do the 3, becomes 9, becomes 27, 81, 243, 729, 2187….
Pay it forward is a great concept; but even this is limiting in it’s own way…
Who says we should stop at three kindnesses?
You can smile at the person who doesn’t expect it at the Post Office. Don’t judge the lady that has less than you at the supermarket.
Be kind with no thought for a thank you or compliment someone that looks tired.
Think creatively with it, you may throw someone a lifeline that helps at their toughest time when they could be hanging by a thread. Ease the place we all live in.
It will bounce back to you along your thread later.
Locally, globally, large scale, small scale. A kindness is a kindness. Random acts of kindness are not only good for the receiver, they are great for the giver.
Your own problems disappear when you look outwards don't they?
The Dalai Lama when once asked to describe Buddhism
said “My religion is kindness” I believe it’s easier to find grace and beauty surrounding you when you have taken the time to improve someone else’s life experience.
It can be as simple as paying a compliment, or seeing someone through new eyes, acknowledging them as a person with feelings as important as your own.
We must honour ourselves, honour others; be honoured in turn & see ourselves for the miracles we are.
Kindness is just one opportunity we can use to raise our spirits personally and as a community, and this attracts better life experiences to us.

There is a large number of the community that are aware change is necessary, but have no idea where to start their own change. Those people could be collected together so they can understand their power and effectiveness is shared and multiplied throughout the community by many people – they are not alone.
There was a study done somewhere in the USA on immunity levels.
University Students were shown 3 movies and their immune systems were tested before & after each movie.
After a movie on the War in Iraq, their immunity was greatly lowered. After an organic farming movie there was no perceptible change.
After a movie showing Mother Teresa’s good work all the students even the sceptics) had a raised immunity.
What does this tell us? Even witnessing kind acts is good for us.
Extrapolating: If we live in a community based in fear not love, are we are all compromising our own immune systems?
When you break it right down to basics: an absence of love is what smashes families apart, murders people and puts people in prison.
We need to educate people, infect them with love , grace and kindness.
